P-TECH Grand Opening Celebration

The SAISD College, Career, Military Readiness team from the Office of Academics and School Leadership welcomes your presence on January 19th, 2021 10 AM-11 AM via ZOOM as we announce the grand opening of three new P-TECH programs: Construction Science P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) at Sidney Lanier High School, the Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing and Welding P-TECH at Highlands High School and the School of Business Careers P-TECH at Edison High School. Our P-TECH programs are intentionally structured to support at-risk and historically disadvantaged student populations while allowing access to over 20 career and technical post-secondary credential opportunities, not to mention various industry-based certifications, while completing high school! This chance WILL propel our students into high wage high demand jobs, ultimately changing socioeconomic statuses of generations to come. Please join us to hear, and see, what we have in store for freshman of Bexar county, this coming fall.
